Hello, I'm Maria. I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 2012, and consider this diagnosis to be the reason I found my passion and purpose in life. Now as a Functional Medicine Certified Health Coach (FMCHC) and Registered Nutritional Therapist (Dip CNM) I support clients who seek to make sustainable lifestyle changes, so that they can live life being the best possible version of themselves. I consider my own personal health journey with MS serves me well in clinical practice as I can easily relate and empathize with others, living with a chronic illness.
I was told by medical professionals practising conventional/western medicine, that there was nothing that could be done for me apart from taking medication which would “slow down the progression of the disease”. I was sent home, to re-arrange it in order to accommodate a wheel-chair.
Newly married and starting a new life in a new country, I simply refused to believe that this was true and started searching for answers that western medicine was unable to give me. At my sickest, I had no feeling from my chin down and my husband was spoon-feeding me. Desperate to get answers, I found a Health Professional who could help. He discovered that I had huge amounts heavy metal toxicity within my body, which was destroying the myelin sheath on the nerves. Being introduced to Functional Medicine was like being given the gift of hope. Functional Medicine opened a whole new, exciting and empowering world to me as I started to look back over my life to identify the triggers and factors that may have contributed to my diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis (MS), and started to address symptoms rather than suppress them.
Now feeling the benefits of the power of food and changed behaviour, I felt well enough to study Nutrition. I spent 3 years, commuting from Switzerland to Scotland, every second
weekend to study Naturopathic Nutrition at the College of Naturopathic Medicine in Edinburgh, where I qualified as a Nutritional Therapist(Dip CNM). I then went on to study at the Functional Medicine Coaching Academy to become a `Functional Medicine Certified Health Coach` (FMCHC) and I recently successfully completed `Applied Functional Medicine in Clinical Practice `(AFMCP), with the Institute for Functional Medicine. Specializing in Multiple Sclerosis, I support my clients holistically, and plan to further my studies with Dr Terry Wahls to become a Wahls Practitioner.
I strongly believe that the story of our life, is the story of our health and the importance of
looking back, before we can move forward. I am passionate about encouraging & educating my clients on the principles of Functional Medicine, which I consider to have saved my life. I seek to empower and support my clients to live the life that they envision for themselves, and strongly advocate the power of Functional Medicine.
I prioritize my health on a daily basis, by walking and breathing fresh mountain air and eat locally grown organic food. I am forever inspired by the beauty of nature around us and love photography. I have learnt how I need to live in order to avoid a relapse and listen to my body every day, giving it what it needs to function optimally. It wasn`t always like this, I journal and practice Gratitude daily.

Hello, I'm Margot. As a Functional Medicine trained Health and Wellness Coach I help people transform their lives from thinking about being healthy and navigating their hurdles, to living the way that feels true to them.
With over 30 years of experience in the fields of health professionals, health and safety,
occupational health and ergonomics I run a successful ergonomic consulting business in London supporting global and local clients in preventing and managing work place injuries.
Having studied occupational therapy, ergonomics, health coaching, and wellness programs, it felt natural to expand my services further into health and wellness coaching which seems to be more meaningful in reaching individuals ready to step into a healthier way of living.
I keep up to date with new and developing approaches to health and wellness and attend conferences and online summits regularly. My own journey of health and wellbeing has been my greatest teacher and has expanded my awareness of the human psyche, habits and patterns that limit our potential. My wisdom and intuition allows me to connect more effectively with my clients, helping them discover the wisdom already within them.
I believe healthy people enable healthy relationships which ultimately contributes to a healthier planet. My purpose is to support those ready to flourish.
When I'm not learning about the human spirit, mind and body, I'm exploring the UK countryside on bike, cooking, walking in nature, spending time with friends, or finding new ways to move freely!

Hello, I'm Dee. I am a Functional Medicine Certified Health Coach and qualified Biochemist. My passion lies in the balance between science and intuition. My own health journey has led me to explore the depths of functional nutrition, autoimmunity, the mind-body connection, communication and neuroscience. My professional journey has led me to explore drug discovery processes in diverse fields such as neuroscience, virology and oncology. My curiosity then led me to medicine regulation which drove my understanding of the current medical model and the need for a paradigm shift. It was through this understanding, a family member's sudden health decline and my own health concerns that I was called to search for alternatives to medicine. I seek solutions because I understand first-hand what it is like to struggle through life feeling unwell, not being heard and being offered patch after patch for what feels like a sinking ship. I want to find answers for you so that you can go out into the world and bring forth your best self to touch upon the lives of others. I believe that your body has capabilities to heal and function better because I have lived it.
In my spare time, I like to hike with my family or practice yoga. I also enjoy swimming, watching films and curling up with a good book.

Hello my name is Julie Köhler. I am a Functional Medicine Certified Health Coach. I see my role as a health coach as a guide helping you to be successful along your own individual health journey.
Having studied business I was an outsider to health and wellness, but my interest in the power of nutrition began 20 years ago when my first daughter developed an extreme
case of eczema after only a few weeks on earth. Luckily, a friend gave me a book about how food allergies can be connected to skin issues. I experimented with my own diet because I was nursing her and in a few weeks I saw drastic changes. She no longer had cracked, bleeding, bright red skin. I was sold! I continued the journey and learned about my own food sensitivities and allergies and how they affected my mental and physical well being.
I am passionate about helping others learn more about themselves and how lifestyle factors can be elemental in improving their health and happiness.
