What is
Nutritional Therapy?
Nutritional Therapy shares many of the same key principles with Functional Medicine and Lifestyle Medicine.
It is a science based approach using food, lifestyle changes and natural supplements to address chronic health concerns originating from physiological imbalances within the body.
Foods we are consuming have a direct effect on functioning of the cells within our body systems, and all systems are interconnected. Imbalances in one of them are likely to have a domino effect on other systems and that is why Nutritional Therapy is using an individualised, full-body approach to health and well-being, taking into account nutritional needs, lifestyle and environmental factors.

Rather than looking solely at the presenting symptoms, Nutritional Therapists are searching for the root causes of the conditions by digging deep into each individual’s health history, habits and diets and following a careful evaluation, creating a personalised plan, because “one size does not fit all”.
